Herati Saffron threads are bright maroon-gold and incredibly delicate. Their warm honeyed fragrance has a hint of rose and freshly harvested wheat. They are carefully harvested by hand to retain their characteristic flame-colored tail, then sun-dried onsite.
This saffron is 100% pure, never dyed, graded either "super negin" or "sargol" - the highest grades available.
Use this saffron in savory dishes like paella and risotto, or sweet deserts like ice cream and custard.

COOKING
- Soak a few threads in warm water to make rice
- Steep in ice before blending into a rich pasta sauce
- Add a pinch to a tea or desert
- Fold into bread, cake or cookie dough
- Pairs well with: Cardamom, Cumin, Chili Flakes
