Premium Alder-Smoked Sea Salt is mined from the pure depths of the Salish Sea and slowly smoked over Northwest alder. The result is a complex pallete of earthy flavors perfectly balanced by light smoke.
These flavors were made to compliment wild salmon, but also work with beef, chicken, lamb and pork. For amazing results, apply salt to your protein immediately after removing it from the refrigerator. As it warms up to room temperature the flavors will penetrate and the salt crystals will dissapear. As an extra touch, very lightly brush on some sweet balsamic vinegar. It will give you a professional, mahogany brown sear and won't overwhelm the natural flavors.
