Premium Whole Stone Nutmeg is the inner pit of a yellow stone fruit that splits open as it gets ripe. This is truly some of the best nutmeg in the world, harvested by hand and dried in the sun.
This nutmeg is harvested once per year in the month of March. The fruit itself looks similar to an apricot and the seed is surrounded by a red splash of mace.
This crop of nutmeg comes from one specific field in one farm in Zanzibar. The nuts are hand-dried in the sun and the entire process qualifiess to be categorized as Organic .
